Dr Aparna Santhanam

DR APARNA SANTHANAM is one of India’s leading dermatologists and wellness experts, having worked in the field for over 15 years. She runs her own practice in Mumbai, apart from working as a strategic consultant to some of India’s prominent wellness and beauty brands. She is also closely associated with Apnalaya, an organization that works on integrated community development of the most marginalized urban-poor. Dr Santhanam believes in the principles of knowledge, prevention, moderation and protection when it comes to health, beauty and wellness. Having authored two books, Skin Deep and Let’s Talk Hair, and worked with women across the socio-economic spectrum, she believes educating women about their own wellness needs and providing tools to access better health is the key to not just more healthy women, but to creating stronger families and communities as a whole.
